2010 ALS RIDE FOR LIFE BIKE TREK - 6th annual
The RIDE FOR LIFE BIKE TREK is a ONE DAY 150 or 100 mile bike ride around Long Island, NY. Why? Ride in support of ALS patients who are making the annual 12 day trek on power wheelchairs using a similar course. Our joint goals are to raise AWARENESS about ALS, to raise funds for research and hopefully soon, a CURE. All levels welcomed. The ride is fully supported with 5 stops and sag vehicles. more

We finished up day 6 of our 2010 ALS Ride for Life in Greenlawn, Long Island. This is the halfway point of our 12 day, 125 mile power wheelchair journey to raise awareness about ALS and funds to cure it. Whatever exhaustion our bodies may feel, we have been uplifted and renewed by the thousands of students that have welcomed us along our journey thus far. more...
